Alex Désert appeared in a number of comedic films, always bringing a spark of joy and laughter to whatever role he takes on. Known for making audiences laugh, Désert began his acting career in comedies like "PCU" (1994) with Jeremy Piven and "Swingers" (1996) with Jon Favreau. He had a part on the television special "The Girl With the Crazy Brother" (CBS, 1989-1990). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "A Different World" (NBC, 1987-1993) and "TV 101" (CBS, 1988-89). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Désert devoted his time to various credits, such as "Betty" with Ron Perlman (1998), "High Fidelity" with John Cusack (2000) and "Fronterz" (2004) starring Ted Danson. He also worked on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). Recently, he tackled roles in the Steve Carell comedic adaptation "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" (2014). Désert also contributed music to "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" (2012) with Steve Carell and "Ruby Sparks" (2012) with Paul Dano. Désert most recently appeared in "Invisible Sister" (Disney, 2015-).
