An accomplished film actor, Artus DePenguern brought laughter to countless audiences while playing various roles over the course of his Hollywood career. DePenguern started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the Fernando Rey drama "Hotel du Paradis" (1986), the thriller "Police" (1986) with Gérard Depardieu and the Harrison Ford thrilling mystery "Frantic" (1988). He also appeared in the biopic drama "Henry & June" (1990) with Fred Ward, the Bob Hoskins comedy "The Favour, the Watch, and the Very Big Fish" (1992) and "Mina Tannenbaum" (1995) with Romane Bohringer. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Software Murders" (1989-1990). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in "News From the Good Lord" (1996), the Catherine Deneuve dramatic adaptation "Belle Maman" (1999) and the dramatic adaptation "A Matter of Taste" (2001) with Bernard Giraudeau. He also appeared in "Amélie" (2001) with Audrey Tautou and "Gregoire Moulin contre l'humanite" (2001). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Les Miserables" (2000-01). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Saint Jacques...La Mecque" (2005), the comedy "Detrompez-vous" (2007) with Mathilde Seigner and the Jean Rochefort comedy "Agathe Clery" (2008). He also appeared in the Bruno Salomone comedy "Fool Moon" (2008), "Peregrinos" (2008) and "La Clinique de l'amour" (2012). Most recently, DePenguern acted in the comedy "La Fleur De l'Age" (2013) with Pierre Arditi.
