Barry White brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. White's early music mostly appeared in comedies like the Farrah Fawcett film "Sunburn" (1979), "I Miei Primi Quarant'Anni" (1987) starring Carol Alt and "Cookie" (1989). Beyond his musical talents, White also provided his voice to "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). In the nineties, White's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Wild Things" (1998) with Kevin Bacon, the action film "Snake Eyes" (1998) with Nicolas Cage and the Billy Crudup dramatic biopic "Without Limits" (1998). His work was also in the comedy "Blast From the Past" (1999) with Brendan Fraser. White's music was also featured in the Jim Carrey box office smash comedy "Bruce Almighty" (2003), the Kate Bosworth comedy "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!" (2004) and "Johnson Family Vacation" (2004) with Cedric The Entertainer. His music was also featured in "Mean Girls" (2004) with Lindsay Lohan and the Ewan McGregor smash hit animated comedy "Robots" (2005). White's music was most recently used in the Antonio Banderas blockbuster children's sequel "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" (2015). White passed away in July 2003 at the age of 59.
