Bill Buell was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Buell's career began by acting in comedies like "Miracle on 34th Street" (1994) with Richard Attenborough and Elizabeth Perkins, "Welcome to the Dollhouse" (1996) starring Heather Matarazzo and "The Love Letter" (1999). Buell worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in the dramatic adaptation "Requiem for A Dream" (2000) with Ellen Burstyn, the musical comedy "The American Astronaut" (2001) with Cory McAbee and the action flick "Spy Game" (2001) with Robert Redford. He also appeared in the Liam Neeson biographical drama "Kinsey" (2004). In his more recent career, he continued to act in the Josh Janowicz drama "December Ends" (2006), "Across the Universe" (2007) and "The Box" (2009) with Cameron Diaz. He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "The Vicious Kind" (2009) with Adam Scott. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Blue Bloods" (CBS, 2010-). Most recently, Buell acted in "God's Pocket" (2014).
