Bill Calvert's success as an actor began when he was a mere 14 years old. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Calvert held acting roles in films like the dramatic adaptation "Six Weeks" (1982) with Dudley Moore. He also starred in the TV movies "A Whale For the Killing" (1980-81), "An Innocent Love" (CBS, 1981-82) and "Your Place or Mine" (CBS, 1982-83). He also appeared in "Love Lives On" (ABC, 1984-85). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The "Slap" Maxwell Story" (ABC, 1987-88). He also starred in the TV movies "Into Thin Air" (1985-86), "The Thanksgiving Promise" (ABC, 1986-87) and "Under the Influence" (CBS, 1986-87). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Donna LaCagmina horror feature "Neon Maniacs" (1986) and the action flick "Terror Squad" (1987) with Chuck Connors. Calvert focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Chud II: Bud the Chud" (1989), "Body Waves" (1992) and "Heart and Souls" (1993) with Robert Downey Jr.. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993) and "Ellen" (1993-98). Calvert more recently appeared in "Reform School Girl" (Showtime, 1994-95).
