Bo Diddley's smooth talent for blues was the key to his captivation of audiences. Diddley's earliest roles were in film, including the drama "Crush Proof" (1972) with Francois DeMenil, "Sweet Toronto" (1972) and "The London Rock and Roll Show" (1973). He also appeared in "Let the Good Times Roll" (1973) and the documentary "Hells Angels Forever" (1983) with The Hells Angels. Diddley also contributed music to "Cruisin'" (1977). In the eighties, Diddley's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the sports drama "Stealing Home" (1988) with Mark Harmon, the comedy "Tapeheads" (1988) with John Cusack and "She's Out Of Control" (1989) with Tony Danza. Diddley's music was also featured in the Johnny Knoxville action flick "The Dukes of Hazzard" (2005), the Adrien Brody thrilling mystery "Hollywoodland" (2006) and "Introducing the Dwights" (2007). His music was also featured in the Emma Stone smash hit dramatic adaptation "The Help" (2011). Diddley was most recently credited in the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster crime drama "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013). In addition to his music, Diddley also appeared on-screen in the comedy sequel "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998) with Dan Aykroyd. Diddley passed away in June 2008 at the age of 80.
