Bob Nolan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Nolan's earliest roles were in film, including "The Old Homestead" (1935), the Roy Rogers western "Sunset Serenade" (1942) and "Heart of the Golden West" (1942). He also appeared in the western "Ridin' Down the Canyon" (1942) with Roy Rogers and "Silver Spurs" (1943). Nolan also contributed music to the Roy Rogers musical "Sunset on the Desert" (1942). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Utah" (1945) with Roy Rogers, "Don't Fence Me In" (1945) with Roy Rogers and the Roy Rogers musical "My Pal Trigger" (1946). He also appeared in "Roll on Texas Moon" (1946) with Roy Rogers. Nolan was most recently credited in the dramatic fantasy "Lost River" (2015) with Christina Hendricks. Nolan had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties, including "Seems Like Old Times" with Goldie Hawn (1980), "Tai-Pan" (1986) and "Angel Heart" (1987). His credits also expanded to "Russkies" with Whip Hubley (1987) and the Eddie Murphy and Eddie Murphy box office smash "Coming to America" (1988). Nolan passed away in June 1980 at the age of 72.
