Brittany Snow quite literally came of age before the cameras, transitioning from adorable child performer to accomplished adult actress in variety of television and film projects. Having begun a modeling career as a toddler, the 12-year-old Snow joined the cast of the long-running daytime soap "Guiding Light" (CBS, 1952-2009) in 1998 as the attention-seeking Susan Lemay. Four years later, she took on a starring role as the daydreaming optimist Meg Pryor on the musical nostalgia series "American Dreams" (ABC, 2002-05). A recurring role throughout the 2005 season of "Nip/Tuck" (FX, 2003-2010) preceded feature film work in the teen comedy "John Tucker Must Die" (2006) and in the blockbuster musical "Hairspray" (2007) as the antagonist Amber von Tussle. After taking the lead as a high school girl-in-peril in the slasher remake of "Prom Night" (2008), Snow appeared in a string of independent dramas, including "The Vicious Kind" (2009) opposite Adam Scott. A brief tenure on the legal comedy-drama "Harry's Law" (NBC, 2011-12) later gave way to a stellar turn as the kindhearted leader of a dysfunctional a cappella group in the lauded musical comedy "Pitch Perfect" (2012) alongside Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson. Deftly maneuvering between mainstream entertainments and smaller art house fare, Snow's versatility and natural charm served her well throughout a diverse career.
