Carol Connors brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Connors began her entertainment career with her music featured in films like "Red Line 7000" (1965). She followed this honor with songs in the Allen Garfield dramatic sports film "Skateboard" (1977), "The Rescuers" (1977) with Bob Newhart and the Elliott Gould comedy "Matilda" (1978). She was nominated for an Academy Award for "Rocky" in 1976. . In the seventies and the eighties, Connors devoted her time to various credits, such as "Goldengirl" with Susan Anton (1979), "Mountain Family Robinson" (1979) starring Robert Logan and "Cheaper to Keep Her" (1980) starring Mac Davis. She also worked on "Falling in Love Again" with Elliott Gould (1980). Connors's music was most recently used in the Adam Sandler smash hit comedic action flick "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (2008). Connors continued to exercise her talent in the eighties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "In Love With an Older Woman" (CBS, 1982-83), "The Devil's Own" with Harrison Ford (1997) and "The Bubble Boy" (2001). Her credits also expanded to "My Baby's Daddy" with Eddie Griffin (2004). Connors was nominated for an Outstanding Achievement In Music and Lyrics Primetime Emmy Award for "Bare Essence" in 1983.
