Catherine Allegret's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of her Hollywood career. Allegret's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the comedy adventure "Lady L" (1966) with Paul Newman, the crime thriller "The Sleeping Car Murders" (1966) with Michel Piccoli and "Ca n'arrive qu'aux autres" (1971) with Marcello Mastroianni. She also appeared in the Sheila White comedy "Papa les Petits Bateaux" (1971), "Smic, Smac, Smoc" (1971) and "Beau Masque" (1972). She continued to act in productions like "Le Hasard Et La Violence" (1973) with Yves Montand, "Les Granges Brulees" (1973) with Alain Delon and the romance sequel "Paul et Michelle" (1974) with Anicee Alvina. She also appeared in the drama "Vincent, Francois, Paul... et les Autres" (1974) with Yves Montand, "Mords pas on t'aime" (1976) and "Clair de Femme" (1979). During the latter part of her career, she continued to act in the Marie-France Pisier biopic "Chanel Solitaire" (1981), the dramatic adaptation "Josepha" (1981) with Miou-Miou and the Jeff Goldblum drama "Mister Frost" (1990). She also appeared in "Mariages!" (2004) and the Marion Cotillard musical drama "La Vie En Rose" (2007). She also was featured in the TV movie "Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story" (ABC, 1986-87). Allegret most recently acted in the dramatic period piece "The Round Up" (2012) with Jean Reno.
