Perhaps best known for his role as Abe Drexler on the hit series "Mad Men" (AMC, 2007-2015), Charlie Hofheimer remained the quintessential New York actor since he began his career in the early 90s. After making his screen debut at the age of 13 in a reboot of "Lassie" (1994), he wasted no time making his Broadway debut as well, appearing in a 1995 revival of "On the Waterfront." He followed this with a role in "Minor Demons" at the Currican Theatre in New York, and was soon making another prominent appearance on screen, appearing alongside Robin Williams and Billy Crystal in "Father's Day" (1997). He returned to the stage again for a production of "Old Money" at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater in 2000, but returned to the big screen the following year, playing Jamie Smith in the action thriller "Black Hawk Down" (2001). Several TV guest appearances followed, including ones on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015), and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). He would also direct the short films "Baggage" (2008) and "Home" (2012). In 2017, Hofheimer was cast in the co-starring role of Marcus Grimes on the series "24: Legacy" (Fox, 2017-).
