Canadian actor Corey Sevier got an early start in the business, quickly rising to a starring role as Timmie in the "Lassie" series of the late-1990s before moving on to various other series and feature parts. Born in Ajax, Ontario, Sevier won a baby beauty pageant, earning him a modeling gig at a mere six months old. Before the age of ten, he landed parts in TV movies--his first credit was in "Family Pictures" playing a younger version of Dermot Mulroney's character. More notable appearances came a few years later when he acted in the spooky kids show based on the writing of R.L. Stine, "Goosebumps," followed by "Lassie." He subsequently landed roles in several short-lived series including "Little Men," based on the Louisa May Alcott novel, and "North Shore," a drama about the employees at a Hawaiian resort hotel. Significant parts in unsuccessful features--such as the action thriller featuring Dolph Lundgren, "Detention," and the horror flick "Decoys"--did little to advance his career. However, he continued to find roles in numerous small films ranging from the goofy surf comedy "Surf School" to a drama about a cheating scandal at West Point, "Code Breakers." Guest spots have given him greater exposure on such memorable series as the quirky crime drama, "Psych," and the tale of Superman as an adolescent, "Smallville."
