Best known as accomplice Sofia Lugo on the third season of the Fox drama "Prison Break," Cuban model Danay Garcia studied various styles of dance before becoming a professional model and, later, a TV and film actress. But a career in performing didn't come so easy for Garcia: in order to pursue her dream in Hollywood, she fled from her Communist home of Havana, Cuba and received political asylum in the U.S. in 2003. Since moving to Los Angeles, Garcia has modeled for well-known fashion magazines and appeared on TV in hit shows such as the procedural dramas "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: NY."
