Dania Ramirez knew she wanted to be an actress at an early age when she would re-enact episodes of Spanish soap operas for the rest of her family. She began modeling at 15 and moved to New York City to study at the Actors Workshop. Later Ramirez moved to Los Angeles to start acting professionally, and, in 2002, landed her breakthrough film role, in Spike Lee's drama "25th Hour." After that movie she earned a guest role on the cult TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and a more significant role in another Lee film in 2004, "She Hate Me." Once she had this much exposure and experience under her belt, more opportunities in larger, big-budgeted films presented themselves. She landed a part in the live-action version of "Fat Albert" and played Callisto in the blockbuster picture "X-Men: The Last Stand." In 2006, she scored the part of A.J.'s hotheaded girlfriend in the final season of "The Sopranos," which she was able to parlay into a more prominent role on the NBC hit series "Heroes." This success was followed with a supporting role in the 2008 horror-thriller "Quarantine." Ramirez continued to act into the 2010s and won another role on an HBO series, playing Turtle's assistant on the Hollywood ensemble show "Entourage." Returning to feature films, she played the love interest of Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) in "American Reunion," the 2012 installment of the "American Pie" comedy series.
