David Graf was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Graf's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Four Friends" (1981), the Steve Guttenberg action picture "Police Academy" (1984) and the Ryan O'Neal dramatic comedy "Irreconcilable Differences" (1984). He also appeared in "Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment" (1985) with Steve Guttenberg, "Police Academy 3: Back in Training" (1986) and "Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol" (1987). He continued to act in productions like the Shirley MacLaine comedic drama "Guarding Tess" (1994) and the Dennis Haysbert mystery thriller "Suture" (1994). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Whereabouts of Jenny" (ABC, 1990-91). Graf also created music for the drama "Max" (1993) with R.H. Thomson. More recently, he tackled roles in the dramatic adaptation "The Brady Bunch Movie" (1995) with Shelley Long and "Citizen Ruth" (1996) with Laura Dern. Graf most recently acted in the drama "Rules of Engagement" (2000) with Tommy Lee Jones.
