Born in 1981, and raised in Washington, D.C., Demetrius Grosse was drawn to performing at a young age. After graduating from Howard University and training at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama and the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England, Grosse was drawn to the screen. After a number of supporting roles on series like "Numb3rs" (CBS, 2005-2010), "Dexter" (Showtime, 2006-2013) and "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012), Grosse appeared in his first recurring role, as one of the super powered characters on "Heroes" (NBC, 2006-2010) in 2008. The same year he landed a recurring role on "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009). Another string of supporting roles led to a recurring role on the first three seasons of "Justified" (FX, 2010-15). His first series regular role came on the first two seasons of the crime drama "Banshee" (Cinemax, 2013-16). On the show, Grosse played one of the deputies to ex-con Lucas Hood, who has assumed the identity of the murdered town sheriff. He played a supporting role in the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton" (2015). In 2016, he was season regular on the mid-season replacement series "Game of Silence" (NBC, 2016), which was cancelled after one season. The same year he had a recurring role on the hit show "Westworld" (HBO, 2016- ). In 2017, Grosse was set in another series regular role on military drama "The Brave" (NBC, 2017- ).
