Veteran German actor Dominic Raacke is best known for his recurring role as Till Ritter on the decades-spanning crime series "Tatort." A regular on the popular show since 1999, Raacke actually appeared on the program multiple times prior to this part, playing a different character in each instance. Outside of "Tatort," Raacke has been featured in dozens of film and TV productions, beginning his career with an uncredited part in the notorious 1981 horror/exploitation movie "Cannibal Ferox." Having previously studied drama in both Germany and the United States, Raacke soon found more work in his homeland, appearing in episodes of the historical series "Rote Erde" and later starring in the comedic short film "The Most Beautiful Breasts in the World." During the 1990s, Raacke began moonlighting as a screenwriter--along with director/co-writer Ralf Huettner, he won accolades for the script for "Um die 30," a TV drama that also featured him in a lead role. Raacke furthered his career as a scribe with the police comedy movie "Die Musterknaben," a hit that yielded two sequels. Continuing to work steadily as an actor, he became a fixture in German made-for-TV films and notably starred in the well-received 2006 crime miniseries "Blackout - Die Erinnerung ist tödlich."
