Exene Cervenka brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Cervenka began her entertainment career with her music featured in films like "The Decline of Western Civilization" (1981), the comedic drama "Something Wild" (1986) with Jeff Daniels and the comedy "Roadside Prophets" (1992) with John Doe. An actress as well as a musician, Cervenka played a part in "The Unheard Music" (1986) and the comedy "Salvation! Have You Said Your Prayers Today?" (1987) with Stephen McHattie. Her film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like "Floundering" (1994) and the Elvis Costello documentary "Punk" (1995). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The History of Rock 'n' Roll" (1994-95). Cervenka also created music for the Elizabeth Peña comedy "Across the Moon" (1995) and "Suburbia" (1997). Cervenka's music was most recently featured in the Julianne Moore drama "The Kids Are All Right" (2010). Cervenka continued to exercise her talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Boys Don't Cry" (1999), "Sunset Strip: Paradise Lost" and "What We Do is Secret" (2008) starring Shane West. Her credits also expanded to "The People Speak" (History, 2009-2010). Cervenka was married to Viggo Mortensen.
