Fat Joe was most commonly known for his contributions in the rap music genre. Fat Joe's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the action picture "Urban Menace" (1999) with Snoop Dogg, the Danny Hoch comedic drama "Whiteboys" (1999) and "Thicker Than Water" (1999). He also appeared in the Q-Tip dramatic musical "Prison Song" (2001). Fat Joe also contributed music to the Michelle Rodriguez dramatic sports film "Girlfight" (2000) and the comedy "Drumline" (2002) with Nick Cannon. In the early 2000s, Fat Joe devoted his time to various credits, such as "Empire" (2002), "Juwanna Mann" (2002) starring Miguel A Nunez Jr. and "Snipes" (2002) starring Sam Jones III. Fat Joe had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "The Apprentice" (NBC, 2003-), "And You Don't Stop: 30 Years of Hip Hop" (VH1, 2004-05) and "Coalition" (2004). His credits also expanded to the Elijah Wood and Robin Williams box office smash "Happy Feet" (2006). Most recently, Fat Joe acted in "Narx" (2014).
