Born and raised in London, England, Fola Evans-Akingbola was first noticed by fashionistas, who put her on the runway. After some time modeling, Evans-Akingbola trained with the National Youth Theatre, Identity Drama School, and The Actors' Temple. Her first onscreen appearances came in 2014, when she appeared on "Youngers" (E4, 2013-14), and the long running medical drama "Holby City" (BBC One, 1999-). Evans-Akingbola landed recurring roles on "Death in Paradise" (BBC One, 2011-) and "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-), before being cast in her first series regular role on the mermaid show "Siren" (Freeform, 2018-).
