Peter Brian was dubbed Frankie J. Holden in the 1970s as the lead singer for retro pop band Ol' 55. Named after the Tom Waits song of the same name, the group achieved success in their native Australia. But when the band later disbanded, Holden's new name stuck and led to his new venture as an actor. After small appearances on television shows such as "Prisoner" (1982 to 1983) and "The Bartons," Holden joined the cast of the family action comedy "Around the Twist" for the 1989 season. Holden played Mr. Gribble/Foxy for 11 episodes, centering on a family that moves into a haunted lighthouse. He continued to have regular work on successful television programs including "Police Rescue," as Sr. Sgt. Glenn "Spider" Webb and as Stuart McGregor on "Something in the Air"--until making his transition into film as John, part of the acclaimed cast of the Sundance Film festival hit "Introducing the Dwights" (also known by its original title, "Clubland") in 2007. Briefly revisiting his musical past along the way, Holden returned to television in 2011 as Henry in "Blood Brothers." The film centers on a murder mystery surrounding a successful young man who one day decides to supposedly kill his entire family.
