Franklin Pangborn was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Pangborn's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the comedy "Exit Smiling" (1926) with Beatrice Lillie, "The Girl in the Pullman" (1927) and "Finger Prints" (1927). He also appeared in "Lady of the Pavements" (1929), "Her Man" (1930) with Helen Twelvetrees and "A Woman of Experience" (1931). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Swing High, Swing Low" (1937), "It Happened in Hollywood" (1937) and "She's Dangerous" (1937). He also appeared in the comedy "Easy Living" (1937) with Jean Arthur. In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "The Bank Dick" (1940) with W C Fields, "Call Out the Marines" (1941) and the Marlene Dietrich romance "The Flame of New Orleans" (1941). He also appeared in the comedy "Week-End For Three" (1941) with Dennis O'Keefe and the W C Fields comedy "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break" (1941). Pangborn was most recently credited in "Careful" (1993) with Kyle McCullough. Pangborn passed away in July 1958 at the age of 69.
