Garry Walberg is an American film and television actor best known for his roles on "Quincy M.E." and "The Odd Couple." Walberg made his TV debut in 1952 with a small role on the sitcom "Mister Peepers," and soon landed work on such popular shows as "Rawhide," "Gunsmoke," and "Outlaws." After appearing in a string of supporting roles in the early '60s, in 1965 Walberg accepted a recurring role as a local police sergeant on the primetime soap opera "Peyton Place." He landed his next high-profile role in 1970 when he was cast as Jack Klugman's poker buddy Speed on the long-running series "The Odd Couple," and soon landed recurring roles on such high-profile shows as "The Waltons" and "Love, American Style." In 1976 he reunited with Jack Klugman on the police drama "Quincy, M.E.," and portrayed the antagonistic Lt. Frank Monahan in over 125 episodes. While on the show he also appeared in numerous TV movies, including "Two-Minute Warning" and "MacArthur," a biopic of WWII Army general Douglas MacArthur. Walberg left "Quincy, M.E." in 1983 and later appeared on the mystery series "Murder, She Wrote" and the legal drama "Hardcastle and McCormick."
