Garth Hudson worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Hudson worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Raging Bull" (1980) starring Robert De Niro and "The Last Waltz" with Bob Dylan (1978). In the eighties and the nineties, Hudson's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "The Right Stuff" (1983) with Sam Shepard and the Rick Hammontree comedy "Stagefright" (1989). Hudson more recently appeared on "The Band" (1995-96).
