Canadian actress Genelle Williams broke into television in 2003, when she was cast as a DJ on the teen drama "Radio Free Roscoe," which centered on the exploits of a teen-run radio station. When her arc on the show came to an end, Williams swung over to another popular Canadian teen drama, "Degrassi: The Next Generation," taking on another recurring role. She followed this with a Gemini-nominated lead role in the urban TV drama "Doomstown." Though she is better known in her native land, Williams's fame in the United States is on the rise as Nickelodeon's The N, a channel programmed to attract the elusive teen/tween demographic, has been broadcasting "Radio Free Roscoe" and "Degrassi: The Next Generation." For her part, Williams has been scoring progressively larger roles in American movies. In 2008 she landed the bit part of "Terrified Gal" in Louis Leterrier's superhero thriller, "The Incredible Hulk," but by 2009 she'd stepped up to the role of Sister Judith in the adoption-centered horror feature "Orphan." While she may be working her way toward movie stardom, Williams is balancing a steady supporting role on the science-fiction mystery series "Warehouse 13" with a major role on the family dramedy "The Latest Buzz."
