George O'Hanlon's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, O'Hanlon landed roles in various films, including the dramatic musical "New Wine" (1941) with Ilona Massey, "Man From Headquarters" (1942) and "Corvette K-225" (1943) with Randolph Scott. He also appeared in the Stuart Erwin drama "Heading For Heaven" (1948), "The Counterfeiters" (1948) and the Bette Davis dramatic adaptation "June Bride" (1948). In the fifties and the seventies, O'Hanlon devoted his time to various credits, such as "Kronos" (1957) starring Jeff Morrow, "For Those Who Think Young" with James Darren (1964) and "I Sailed to Tahiti With an All Girl Crew" with Gardner McKay (1969). He also worked on "$1,000,000 Duck" (1971). O'Hanlon was most recently credited in the sci-fi motion picture "Battleship" (2012) with Taylor Kitsch. O'Hanlon had a number of different projects under his belt in the seventies through the nineties, including "Charley and the Angel" with Fred MacMurray (1973), "Rocky" (1976) and "The New Jetsons" (1985-86). His credits also expanded to "Jetsons: The Movie" (1990). O'Hanlon passed away in February 1989 at the age of 77.
