Georgia King

Scottish actress Georgia King first appeared in a small supporting role in the 2006 BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." The next year she appeared in two more supporting parts in television movies "The History of Mr. Polly" (2007) and "The Shadow in the North" (2007) the latter production based on the novel by Philip Pullman and starring Billie Piper and Matt Smith. She next landed a bigger role opposite Emma Roberts in the feature film teen comedy "Wild Child" (2008) playing Roberts's arch-nemesis at a posh English boarding school. After co-starring in another historical film, "The Duchess" (2008) starring Kiera Knightley, Ralph Fiennes, and Charlotte Rampling, King got a meatier role in the all-star miniseries "Little Dorrit" (BBC 2008) playing the character of Pet Meagles. In 2009, King starred in the body-count horror thriller "Tormented" (2009) playing a snobby teen who has the distinction of being the first to die a ghastly death at the hands of a vengeful zombie spirit. That same year King found herself in yet another boarding school in her first U.S. movie "Tanner Hall" (2009) starring opposite Rooney Mara. She also co-starred in John Landis' return to horror/comedy, "Burke & Hare" (2010), about the notorious grave robbers, and had a small part in the teen romantic comedy "Chalet Girl" (2011). Supporting roles in romantic drama "One Day" (2011), self-descriptive horror comedy "Cockneys vs. Zombies" (2012) and romantic comedy "Austenland" (2012) followed. During this period, King co-starred on the American sitcom "The New Normal" (NBC 2012-13) as the surrogate mother for a gay couple. After co-starring in the black comedy "Kill Your Friends" (2015), King returned to American TV as co-star of the comedy "Vice Principals" (HBO 2016- ).
