Gina Holden

Canadian actress Gina Holden, a former model with several supporting parts in television and film, found her breakout role as the iconic Dale Arden in "Flash Gordon," (Sci-Fi Channel, 2007). Holden was born on March 17, 1975, in British Columbia. While growing up in the small mountain town of Smithers, she took up figure skating, ballet, tap and other forms of dancing, soon growing comfortable being onstage and in the spotlight. Discovered by a modeling agency at age 15, she spent several years in Japan as a cover girl for a cosmetics line, before returning to North America to get back to school and studying acting.
