Helen Baxendale was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1997, she portrayed sleuth Cordelia Gray in the British series "An Unsuitable Job for a Woman" (aired on PBS in the USA in 1998). She raised in Shenstone in Staffordshire, England. She co-starred in the BBC drama "Cardiac Arrest." In 1998, she appeared in the British TV movie "Cold Feet". Baxendale worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Friends" (NBC, 1994-2004). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "A Last Embrace" (PBS, 1997-98) and "Sacrifice" (PBS, 1997-98). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Living on Risk" (PBS, 1999-2000) and "Playing God" (PBS, 1999-2000). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "The Investigator" (1997) and the crime picture "Ordinary Decent Criminal" (2000) with Gerard McSorley. She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Cold Feet (UK)" (ITV 1, 1998-2003) and "Murder in Mind" (BBC, 2000-03). Baxendale took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "Dead by Monday" (2001), the dramedy "Skagerrak" (2003) with Martin Henderson and "Beyond the Pole" (2010). She also appeared in the Rhys Ifans period drama "Anonymous" (2011). Most recently, Baxendale acted on "Cuckoo" (BBC 3, 2012-15). Baxendale had two children.
