Helen Parrish's acting career first began when she was just seven years old. Parrish's career in acting began with her roles in various films like "Words and Music" (1929), "His First Command" (1929) and the John Wayne western "The Big Trail" (1930). She also appeared in the Richard Dix adaptation "Cimarron" (1930), the James Cagney crime flick "The Public Enemy" (1931) and the drama "Seed" (1931) with John Boles. Her film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "Straight From the Heart" (1935), the comedy "Little Tough Guy" (1938) with Billy Halop and "Mad About Music" (1938). She also appeared in the comedy "Little Tough Guys in Society" (1938) with Mischa Auer. In the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in the western "In Old California" (1942) with John Wayne, "Sunset Serenade" (1942) and "They All Kissed the Bride" (1942) with Joan Crawford. She also appeared in "Overland Mail" (1942) and the Billy Halop comedy "Tough as They Come" (1942). Parrish was most recently credited in the drama "Angel, Angel Down We Go" (1969) with Jennifer Jones. Parrish was married to Charles B Lang. Parrish passed away in February 1959 at the age of 37.
