A native of Burkina Faso, Issaka Sawadogo spent much of his professional career in Norway after being invited to work with country's respected National Theatre as their Cultural Consultant in 1993. His ability to work in various cultures was reflected in his trilingual abilities in French, English and Norwegian, as well as in his far ranging roles.
