Jack Hanna

Jack Hanna worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1985, he made the first of numerous appearances on CBS' "Late Night with David Letterman." He moved to Florida and served as director of the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford. In 1983, he began making regular appearances on the ABC morning program "Good Morning America." In 1996, he hosted a series of specials on Family Channel, "Jack Hanna's Wildlife Adventures." He appeared in a number of television specials, including "A Busch Gardens-Sea World Summer Safari" (1991-92), "A Sea World/Busch Gardens Summer Celebration" (CBS, 1992-93) and "A Busch Gardens/Sea World Summer Celebration" (CBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in "Sea World/Busch Gardens Party For the Planet" (CBS, 1994-95). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Jack Hanna's Wildlife Adventures: Africa's Heavyweights" (1996-97), "Jack Hanna's Wildlife Adventures: Underwater Predators" (Family Channel Studios, 1996-97) and "The World's Greatest Animal Outtakes: Unleashed 2" (Fox, 1996-97). Hanna had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "At Home With..." (HGTV, 1998-2001), "The 34th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (CBS, 1998-99) and "An Ocean Runs Through It" (ION Television Network, 1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "Jack Hanna's Animal Bloopers" (ION Television Network, 1999-2000), "All New Bloopers No. 4" (ABC, 2000-01) and "Boone and Crockett: The Hunter Heroes" (History, 2000-01). Most recently, Hanna appeared on "The 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (CNN, 2011-12).
