Jacques Offenbach brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Offenbach worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Juke Box Rhythm" (1959) starring Jo Morrow, "Lautrec" (1974) and "Ludwig" (1972). He also contributed to "Tales of Hoffmann" with Moira Shearer (1951), "The Getting of Wisdom" (1977) and "The Great Waltz" with Horst Buchholz (1972). In the eighties and the nineties, Offenbach's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the dramatic period piece "The Music Teacher" (1989) with Jose Van Dam, the dramatic biopic "Becoming Colette" (1992) with Klaus Maria Brandauer and "Peter's Friends" (1992) with Hugh Laurie. Offenbach's music was also featured in "Moulin Rouge" (2001) with Nicole Kidman, "Big Fish" (2003) with Ewan McGregor and the dramatic adaptation "A Good Year" (2006) with Russell Crowe. His music was also featured in the Jackie Chan blockbuster action flick "Rush Hour 3" (2007). Offenbach's music was most recently featured in the Thomas Mann dramatic adaptation "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" (2015).
