Actor Jeremy Bobb spent his early career treading the boards before making the move into television with recurring roles on "Hostages" (CBS, 2013-14), "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2014-15) and "House of Cards" (Netflix, 2013-). Born in Ohio in 1981, Bobb studied theater at his hometown's Otterbein University before moving to New York where he immersed himself in the theatre world, later becoming an integral member of Kevin Spacey and Sam Mendes' The Bridge Project. Bobb made his on-screen debut playing wannabe black guy Josh in race relations drama "White Lies, Black Sheep" (2007), and went onto land bit-parts in Wall Street tale "August" (2008), soap opera institution "All My Children" (AMC, 1970-2011) and various "Law and Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) spin-offs. After portraying real-life quadriplegic David Rivlin in the biopic of assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian, "You Don't Know Jack" (2010), Bobb appeared in vigilante thriller "Boy Wonder" (2010), guested on "Blue Bloods" (CBS, 2010-), "Inside Amy Schumer" (Comedy Central, 2013-) and "Unforgettable" (CBS, 2011-) and played entertainment promoter Dickie Pastor in "Boardwalk Empire" (HBO, 2010-14). Bobb then landed his first major recurring role as Quentin Creasy, the White House Chief-of-Staff involved in the plot to assassinate the President, in "Hostages" (CBS, 2013-14) and after playing a police officer in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013), bagged his second as journalist Nick Henslow in political drama "House of Cards" (Netflix, 2013-). Following a brief appearance in gritty crime drama "The Drop" (2013), Bobb was cast as odious hospital manager Herman Barrow in Steven Soderbergh's early 20th Century medical drama "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2014-15) and guested as circus performer Owen Lloyd in Batman prequel "Gotham" (Fox, 2014-).
