Joey Starr was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Starr began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the comedy "Old School" (2000) with Fabienne Babe, the Samy Naceri thriller "Ferocious" (2002) and the Chau Belle Dinh crime drama "Yamakasi" (2004). In addition to his music, Starr appeared in "All About Actresses" (2009) with Jeanne Balibar. He kept working in film throughout the 2010s, starring in the comedy "Do Not Disturb" (2012) with Yvan Attal, the comedy "Les Seigneurs" (2012) with José Garcia and the comedy "Love Lasts Three Years" (2012) with Louise Bourgoin. He also appeared in "Polisse" (2012). More recently, he tackled roles in "Sleepless Night" (2012), the crime drama "22 Bullets" (2013) with Jean Reno and "La marque des anges-Miserere" (2013). He also appeared in "Un autre vie" (2014). Most recently, Starr acted in the Manu Payet foreign "Les gorilles" (2015).
