John Ingle was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. In 1983, he made his first TV appearances with bit parts on "Dallas" (CBS) and "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" (CBS). In 1997, he reprised Edward Quartermaine on the spin-off series "Port Charles" (ABC). In 2004, he played lawyer Mickey Horton on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC). Ingle worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Amazon Women on the Moon" (1987), "General Hospital" (ABC, 1962-2014) and "Heathers" with Winona Ryder (1989). He also contributed to "The New Jetsons" "The Paw Paws" and "True Stories" (1986) starring David Byrne. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the action film "Robocop 2" (1990) with Peter Weller, the comedy "Death Becomes Her" (1992) with Meryl Streep and "Suture" (1994). In the nineties, Ingle lent his talents to projects like "The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure" with Jeff Glen Bennett (1994), "Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving" (1995) starring Jeff Glen Bennett and "The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists" (1996). His credits also expanded to the Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Clooney smash hit "Batman & Robin" (1997) and "The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island" (1997) starring Brandon LaCroix. Ingle last acted in the dramatic comedy "TiMER" (2010) with Emma Caulfield. Ingle was married to Grace-Lynne Martin. Ingle passed away in September 2012 at the age of 84.
