Character actress Jordan Baker has worked primarily in television, specializing in playing professional women. Aside from recurring parts as an antagonistic district attorney on the legal drama "L.A. Law" and a third-grade teacher on the Julia Louis-Dreyfus sitcom "The New Adventures of Old Christine," as well as a supporting role on the short-lived Richard Lewis and Kevin Nealon sitcom "Hiller and Diller," she mostly performs one-off guest spots in dramas and procedural series. Along with her television work, Baker had a notable film part with the critically acclaimed indie "Another Earth," where she played the mother of lead character Rhoda Williams, played by co-screenwriter Brit Marling.
