Josh Cooke

Josh Cooke attended Harriton High School, located in a small suburb of Philadelphia. He took an interest in the performing arts and, as a member of the Harriton Theater Company, he directed a show during his senior year. Following graduation, Cooke attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in theater. There he studied with renowned teachers Ann Reinking, Lesly Kahn, and Gregory Hines. Cooke played the lead role of Nate Solomon in NBC's 2005 sitcom "Committed," which was canceled after one season. Cooke did not, alas, have any more luck with his starring role on the NBC sitcom "Four Kings," canceled after its only season in 2006, not to mention the ABC sitcom "Big Day," canceled after one season in 2007; nor did he fare better with another ABC sitcom "Better with You," also canceled after a single season in 2011. In the midst of these failed sitcoms, Cooke managed to accomplish a wide range of film appearances. In 2006, he co-starred in the drama film "Wasted," which concerns a group of high school buddies who reunite for a friend's funeral. Cooke played a small role in the comedy "I Love You, Man," alongside Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, and Andy Samberg. He starred in the 2010 comedy "Group Sex" and the 2011 horror film "Quarantine 2: Terminal."
