Kamala Lopez

Actress Kamala Lopez-Dawson was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Lopez-Dawson's earliest roles were in film, including the Cheech Marin comedic adventure "Born in East L.A." (1987), the Oscar Chavez biopic "Break of Dawn" (1988) and the Nancy Kwan drama "Night Children" (1989). She also appeared in "Exiled in America" (1990), the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office smash action flick "Total Recall" (1990) and "Dollman" (1991). She kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the action film "Warlock" (1991) with Richard E Grant, "Deep Cover" (1992) and "Lightning Jack" (1994). She also appeared in the Harrison Ford box office smash action movie "Clear and Present Danger" (1994). She also was featured in the TV movie "Black and White" (HBO, 1998-99). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Vengeance Unlimited" (ABC, 1998-99). Most recently, Lopez-Dawson acted on "Perception" (TNT, 2011-14).
