Karley Scott Collins began her acting career at the age of seven with a six-episode run on the 2006 ensemble sitcom "The Class." She played Oprah, the tiny blonde girl whose name served as a running gag throughout the sole season the series was on the air. Upon the show's cancellation, she found herself playing younger versions of other characters in many a flashback sequence--truly the child actor's cinematic ghetto. In the wake of her appearance as a younger version of federal agent Olivia Dunham on an episode of the paranormal detective series "Fringe," she began landing regular roles in horror films, including the 2009 home invasion movie "The Collector." Collins made a move to more mature material with the 2010 Lifetime original "Amish Grace," the true story of a schoolhouse shooting in a Pennsylvania Dutch community. On the set, she took in acting tips from her co-star, sitcom regular Kimberly Williams-Paisley. In 2011, Collins starred as Aurora, a young girl struggling to cope with the loss of her mother, in second-generation Hollywood director Bryce Dallas Howard's short film "When You Find Me." The high-profile project, which premiered on YouTube, was produced by Ron Howard and sponsored by Canon's Project Imagi8ion, an experiment in deriving film concepts from user-submitted content.
