Liv Hewson was an actress and playwright best known in the United States for her supporting role on the horror comedy series "Santa Clarita Diet" (Netflix, 2017). Born on November 29, 1995 in Australia, Hewson studied at her home country's venerable Canberra Youth Theatre as a child, where she honed her chops in both acting and playwriting. Her debut play, "Bona Mors," dealt with "how children understand and deal with death." From there, Hewson made her onscreen debut in the short film "Alfonso Frisk" (2013). After appearing in small parts on the TV series "I've Got No Legs" (AIPA, 2014-), "Do You Mind?" (Amazon, 2014-15), and "Dramaworld" (Viki, 2016-), Hewson made her full-length film debut in Ry Russo-Young's drama "Before I Fall" (2017). Her biggest role to date came in the form of Abby Hammond, the daughter of real estate agents played by Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore who must deal with Barrymore's character's transformation into a flesh-eating zombie in the horror comedy series "Santa Clarita Diet" (Netflix, 2017).
