Mary Gregory was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. Gregory started her acting career landing roles in films, such as "Trooper Hook" (1957), "Angel in My Pocket" (1968) with Andy Griffith and the dramatic adaptation "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" (1969) with Jane Fonda. She also appeared in the comedy "Sleeper" (1973) with Woody Allen and the Jane Fonda drama "Coming Home" (1978). Gregory worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the comedy adventure "Troop Beverly Hills" (1989) with Shelley Long and the drama "Listen to Me" (1989) with Kirk Cameron. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Righteous Apples" (PBS, 1980-82). Gregory also created music for the Gene Wilder comedy "Stir Crazy" (1980). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Women of the 21st Century" (CBS, 1989-1990). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Sisters" (1990-96). Gregory most recently acted on "The Sarah Silverman Program" (Comedy Central, 2006-2010).
