Michael Craig was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Craig landed roles in various films, including "Svengali" (1955), the Diana Dors thriller "Blonde Sinner" (1956) and "Nor the Moon By Night" (1958). He also appeared in "The Silent Enemy" (1959). He was nominated for an Academy Award for "The Angry Silence" in 1960. Craig also lent his voice to various characters in "Malta Story" (1953) with Alec Guinness. Craig was nominated for a British Actor BAFTA Award for "Sea of Sand" in 1958. He continued to act in productions like "Stolen Hours" (1963), the adaptation sequel "Life at the Top" (1965) with Laurence Harvey and the thrilling adaptation "Modesty Blaise" (1966) with Monica Vitti. He also appeared in the drama "Sandra" (1966) with Claudia Cardinale. During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in "Ride a Wild Pony" (1975), the John Meillon drama "The Fourth Wish" (1976) and "The Irishman" (1978). He also appeared in the Steve Railsback horror movie "Turkey Shoot" (1981). Craig most recently acted in the Paul Fenech comedic adaptation "Fat Pizza" (2003).
