Mick Ford was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. To break into the world of acting, Ford held roles in films like "The Sailor's Return" (1978) with Tom Bell and "Scum" (1979) with Ray Winstone and Mick Ford. He had an early role on the television special "The Racing Game, Series I" (PBS, 1979-1980). He also appeared in the TV movie "Kim" (CBS, 1983-84). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "L' Amour Fugitif" (1983), "The Fourth Protocol" (1987) and the Richard E Grant comedy "How to Get Ahead in Advertising" (1989). He also landed roles in the miniseries "A Woman of Substance" (1984-85) and "Jenny's War" (1985-86). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996). He also was featured in the TV movies "Silent Witness: Blood, Sweat and Tears" (1996-97), "Silent Witness: Friends Like These" (1997-98) and "Silent Witness: Only the Lonely" (1997-98). Most recently, Ford worked on "William and Mary" (2002-05).
