Niall Matter

Actor Niall Matter originally worked on a Canadian oil rig for eight years, but after surviving a traumatic accident, he quit the profession and turned to acting, finding success quickly. He had a recurring role on the 2007 drama "The Best Years" and was made a cast member of the popular sci-fi drama "Eureka" that same year. He found more work in the sci-fi genre when he starred in the made-for-TV horror movie "Beyond Loch Ness" in 2008 and became a superhero in the comic book adaptation of "Watchmen" in '09. The experienced actor then switched gears to network dramas and found guest roles on "90210" and "Melrose Place."
