It would seem that Nick Antosca was destined to become a storyteller almost from day one. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1983 and raised in Maryland, Antosca began crafting stories before he could even read, drawing pictures of dinosaurs and then asking his father to fill in the surrounding text. Antosca would eventually attend Yale University and began pursuing a career as a writer, publishing his first novel Fires in 2006 while supplementing his income with office jobs. He would publish the novella Midnight Picnic in 2009, but things would change dramatically for Antosca just a few years later when he began writing for the TV series "Teen Wolf" (MTV, 2011-17), a move that both opened up a new avenue for his talents and enabled him to fully support himself solely through writing. He would publish the acclaimed short story collection "The Girlfriend Game" in 2013, but several of the writer's high profile projects to come would be in the realm of TV, as he began writing for the acclaimed series "Hannibal" (NBC, 2013-15) in 2015. The following year, Antosca added "showrunner" to his resume, creating and co-writing much of the horror anthology series "Channel Zero" (Syfy, 2016-18). He took these duties to the next level with his next project, creating and writing "The Act" (Hulu, 2019-), a prestige series about the real-life story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
