Olivia Barash launched her acting career at the tender age of 11. She also appeared in the TV movie "The Incredible Hulk" (CBS, 1977-78). Barash launched her entertainment career by acting in films like the Tim McIntire musical "American Hot Wax" (1978). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Daughters" (NBC, 1976-77) and "The Contest Kid" (ABC, 1978-79). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Triangle Factory Fire Scandal" (NBC, 1978-79). Following that project, Barash worked on mostly television programs, including "Out of the Blue" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Zack and the Magic Factory" (ABC, 1980-81) and "Through the Magic Pyramid" (NBC, 1981-82). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the drama "Repo Man" (1984) with Harry Dean Stanton. She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Out of the Blue" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992). Barash focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the drama "Tuff Turf" (1985) with James Spader, "Dr Alien" (1988) and the biographical drama "Patty Hearst" (1988) with Natasha Richardson. She also appeared in "Grave Secrets" (1989) with Paul Le Mat. Barash also contributed music to the Val Kilmer musical drama "The Doors" (1991). Barash more recently acted in "Floundering" (1994).
