British actress Olivia Ross was a soulful presence in films and television produced in her native country and France, including "Father of My Children" (2009), "War & Peace" (A&E, 2016) and "Knightfall" (History Channel, 2017-). Trained at the Sorbonne Nouvelle and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Ross began her screen career as a manipulative drug addict in "All is Forgiven" (2007), a drama from French director Mia Hansen-Love that received critical praise at Cannes. Additional character turns in French features, including Zabou Breitman's "Someone I Loved" (2009) and Hansen-Love's "Father of My Children," which won the Un Certain Regard - Special Jury Prize at Cannes, preceded work in productions of Shakespeare's work at the Globe Theatre in London, including a critically lauded turn as Princess Katherine in "Henry V," which was filmed and screened as part of the "Shakespeare's Globe" series of special theatrical broadcasts in 2013. Ross made her American television debut with a minor role in Agnieszka Holland's miniseries adaptation of "Rosemary's Baby" (NBC, 2014). This was followed by turns as the naïve Mademoiselle Bourienne in A&E's sprawling "War & Peace" and in Olivier Assayas' quasi-supernatural drama "Personal Shopper" (2016) with Kristen Stewart. The following year, she was cast as Queen Joan, 14th century ruler of France, in "Knightfall," a period drama produced for the History Channel.
