Patrick Cargill was known for his funny antics, a trait that always stood out throughout his film career. Cargill's career beginnings included film roles in the Donald Sinden comedy "An Alligator Named Daisy" (1957) and "Help!" (1965). Later, he acted in "A Countess From Hong Kong" (1967), "Inspector Clouseau" (1968) with Alan Arkin and the Marty Feldman comedy "Every Home Should Have One" (1970). He also appeared in the Peter Sellers comedy "The Magic Christian" (1970), "Up Pompeii" (1971) and the drama "The Picture Show Man" (1976) with Rod Taylor. Later in his career, Cargill acted on "Father, Dear Father" (1977-78).
