Paul Chihara brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Chihara was a musician that started his entertainment career in films like the David Carradine action flick "Death Race 2000" (1975), "Dandy, the All American Girl" (1976) with Stockard Channing and the Bibi Andersson drama "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" (1977). His music also appeared in "The Bad News Bears Go to Japan" (1978) and the Treat Williams drama "Prince of the City" (1981). In the eighties, Chihara's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "The Survivors" (1983), the comedy "Crackers" (1984) with Donald Sutherland and "Impulse" (1984). His work was also in "American Justice" (1986) with Wilford Brimley. Chihara's music was also featured in "A Walk on the Moon" (1987) with Kevin Anderson, the drama "The Killing Time" (1987) with Beau Bridges and the dramatic adaptation "Crossing Delancey" (1988) with Amy Irving. His music was also featured in the Penn Jillette comedic adventure "Penn & Teller Get Killed" (1989) and the animated picture "Kiki's Delivery Service" (1998) with Kirsten Dunst. Most recently, Chihara worked on the James Gandolfini musical "Romance and Cigarettes" (2007).
